Photo shoot for SDSU Alumni magazine

My friend Lura is a free lance journalist and does stories for the SDSU Foundation. Today I took photos for a story she did about the SDSU Foundation farm near Lennox. Bryan is an Ag Engineer who designed and built this shed. He had to account for everything from snow load to wind. The front is special material that lets the light in, so the cattle aren't spooked by going into a shadowed area they can't see. Look for the article in the Foundation Magazine. Posted by Picasa

Memories....

Well, my friend Inge commented that Jon was not on my blog very much. True. So, I decided to post a couple photos from two years ago when we went to visit the Netherlands. Inge lives in Rotterdam and it's famous for it's very modern/different architecture. Everything was blown up in the war so it was all brand-new. These are the Cube Houses. Posted by Picasa

Inge and Jon in the cube houses... very cool but hard to live in I think. At least by American standards. I couldn't imagine getting a couch up the 3 flights of very narrow stairs. Posted by Picasa

Dak boards

I am a super-geek - these video boards are Daktronics boards. We are replacing the ones on the left with new video boards, and we run the Virgin boards from South Dakota. I work in our Network Operations Center that runs these... Posted by Picasa

Teresa, me, and Barrett

Barrett and Teresa went to college (SDSU) with me. They've been living in LA for three years and I haven't seen them since they moved. We had sushi! Barrett and I even tried the urchin for the first time.

It's kinda nice to be in a couple of photos for once....Posted by Picasa

VIP Lounge

We got a VIP tour of Grauman's Chinese Theatre from Luis, who I'm working with to set up a data feed from the Theatre to Dak. Very cool. This is the VIP lounge at Grauman's - many celebrities have been here.

I was in LA this week for Scala training and to meet with Grauman's to discuss data feeds and content. It is really sunny in CA. I want to go back! Posted by Picasa
