Living Matrix-Style - now??

I'm on the New York Times email list, so I get links to stories every day.  This one is a bit odd to think about.  http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/14/science/14tier.html?th&emc=th  Basically, it looks at the possibility that our lives are actually not true lives but a computer stimulation (think The Matrix.)   Very interesting.
